Every month I get calls and emails from the parents and teachers of “special needs” kids asking about our software.
They want their kids to thrive in Sunday School, but the classrooms and volunteer teachers are often not equipped to deal with special kids. These kids are like Zaccheus, ostracized by their problems or the perceptions of others, but who need to see Jesus as much as anyone. In many cases, computer software is their tree.
When special needs kids don’t come, that often means their parent doesn’t either. Helping special needs kids in Sunday School is thus, also a ministry to their parents.
I’ve recently updated my article about Special Needs Kids and Our Software. It has many teaching tips and software suggestions.
